Our Mobile development team is growing, and we’re seeking GraphQL and NodeJS developer who wish to further their career. As part of our team, you’ll be given the opportunity to drive and deliver exceptional work for all our banners like B&Q, Castorama, TradePoint etc.

Our mission? To craft a world-class mobile experience for our customers. We’re on the lookout for top talent to build NodeJS and GraphQL middleware for new iOS and Android native apps and potential to work further afield.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust back-end systems using Node.js and GraphQL.Implement and manage server-side logic ensuring high performance and responsivenessDevelop and maintain schemas and resolvers for GraphQL APIs.Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS.Collaborate with front end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and functionalities.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Troubleshoot and debug applications and perform code reviews.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing features.Manage and mentor junior members of the team What you'll bring

Skills and Experience

3+ years of professional experience in back-end development with a strong focus on Node.js and GraphQL.Proficient in JavaScript, Visual Studio and excellent experience with TypeScript.Solid experience with AWS services Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

Ability to architect a Super-graph from Sub-graphsFamiliarity with the latest GraphQL clients and libraries.Familiarity with Apollo Studio and Apollo Federation.Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.
