Software Engineer
Our Client, a Digital Infrastructure Company, is looking for Software Engineer for their Redwood City (Hybrid)location Responsibilities: + As a key member of the Client Product Engineering function, you will be involved in the software development life cycle with a focus on delivering solutions for Interconnection product systems. + Work in a Globally Distributed Development team environment with minimal supervision. + Hands-on Architecture, Design, Development, Automation Testing & Support of Software Products and Solutions + Interact with stakeholder(s) to understand and document the product feature(s). + Provides a level of effort (LOE) for the product backlog. Work with technical project managers and product management teams to define a schedule + Integrate software product(s) with other systems, test interfaces, and manage version control + Assist in the analysis & evaluation of new technologies to meet the demand for the product roadmap and technology platform goals + Help in the evaluation and recommendation of appropriate technologies for product features and platform + Advocate and follow best design and development practices adhering to Engineering standards. + Participate in Design & Peer Code Review process + Provides status reports and helps with release management planning + Breaking down the big features and user stories into granular components and development tasks considering different geo-locations + Prioritizing and parallelizing the tasks in hand and dealing with ad-hoc requests + Integrating with all the cloud service providers, IMB, Alibaba, etc. + Working on user experience on our portals + External client partners + Work with the platform teams to understand different parts of the business and integrate into the billing systems + Crate the connections between systems, create integrations + Not expecting to be client facing, mainly a heads down developer role + Lots of backlog currently + Scrum mindset, going to be challenging to jump in but will need someone to be able to ramp up quickly + Communicate effectively to team and HM if there are any issues Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of professional software development experience + Minimum 7+ years of Full-stack expertise in application design & development with Java/Go technologies with knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Message Queues & Workflow Engines with microservices architecture. + Minimum of 7+ years of expertise in writing Test Automation scripts using Karate & Cypress + DevOps mindset to improve CICD using GitHub Actions and review DORA metrics to improve processes. + Strong programming foundation with knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Patterns. + Nice to have 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Angular, and HTML5/CSS3 + 3+ years of experience with database technologies (NoSQL, SQL, and Time-series Databases) + Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery using public cloud such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies such as Docker, Rancher, etc. + Experience in architecting and building large-scale systems using a scale-out architecture that requires high availability, performance, high scalability, and multi-tenancy + Full stack is nice to have but not requiring UI experience + AP Integration Experience is the most important skillset Top 3 Must-Have Essential Skills: + Java + SQL + Communications – Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. Why Should You Apply? + Health Benefits + Referral Program + Excellent growth and advancement opportunities As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA provides an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or express, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability status, political affiliation, genetics, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
