Software Engineer - Onsite

As a Software Engineer, you will be deeply involved in all aspects of the Software Lifecycle, including development, testing, design, and documentation. You will work on defense-oriented system software, focusing on backend software engineering and system-level programming in C#. This role is crucial for handling network communications and ensuring robust system software engineering. You will work a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) and potential travel may be involved for a few weeks out of the year, with all expenses covered.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, test, design, and document software throughout the Software Lifecycle.Engage in system-level programming in C#.Work on defense-oriented system software projects.Handle network communications and backend software engineering tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

Must be eligible to obtain DOD ClearanceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or possibly Computer Engineering.3.0 GPA or higher2+ years of relevant experience, including co-ops/internshipsAbility to discuss topics such as Multi-tasking, Object-oriented Design, Network Protocols, Data Structures, Data Types, Memory Management, and Error Handling in detail.Strong understanding of network protocols and data structures.Experience in system software engineering.

Plus:

Experience with defense-oriented system software projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.00
