Job Description
For our Nootdorp office we are looking for an talented C# .Net Developer. You will join the team who develops and enhances our suite of software applications.
For our various business lines Fugro gathers large volumes of Geo-data. This data needs to be combined, refined and cleaned in order to distil information and insights about the world around us.
As our software developer, you play a key part in enabling our engineers to perform their tasks. Our software is a large Geo-data acquisition platform for various offshore operations used all around the world. It is designed to work in a 24x7 environment. Stability and quality of our code is of the highest importance.
You find yourself in a team consisting of multiple nationalities where creative ideas and initiatives are encouraged. We invite those to apply who are creative and ready to push the boundaries of technology in the world of Geo-data.
Your role
You contribute to all development phases of the product, from design and implementation to maintenance and support of the software;
You attend the daily stand up meetings and attend retrospectives and sprint planning meetings;
You participate in code reviews;
You keep up to date with all relevant software development technologies;
You provide field support as required and you strive for continuous improvements.
Your track record
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in (Technical) Computer science or Electronics;
You have at least 3 years of experience as a C# Developer;
You have knowledge of or experience with some of the following: TDD, Design patterns, UI/UX design, SOLID principles, Clean Code, Git and branching strategies;
Experience working CI/CD pipeline and Github is appreciated;
Experience with other programming languages and framework such as Python, WPF and React is an advantage;
Knowledge about SOA would be a plus;
You are proficient in speaking and writing in English.
