**Job Description Summary** For our software development team in Vienna we are looking for a Software Engineer (f/m/d) with expertise in .NET / C# to extend our team of professionals who are working on software applications in BD’s Infusion Enterprise Software sector. **Job Description** “At the end of everything we do is a patient. BD offers a comprehensive suite of infusion software solutions to improve patient safety, reduce costs and optimize infusion management. **About the role** For our software development team in Vienna we are looking for a Software Engineer (f/m/d) with expertise in .NET / C# to extend our team of professionals who are working on software applications in **BD’s Infusion Enterprise Software sector** . In your role you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing software applications around BD’s infusion devices. Your contribution will directly impact the healthcare industry, making it easier for healthcare professionals to provide high quality care. You will work in cross-functional, international, and highly motivated teams to turn our visions into reality. **Responsibilities:** + Design and develop software following established guidelines and best practices to produce reliable, maintainable products + Work in a scrum-based agile development process that plans and builds features targeted to a release + Produce technical documentation to support implementation, testing, and maintenance and follow workflows defined in the quality management system + Work with product owners to validate new enhancement interoperability with established functionality + Work with the R&D teams in and around Vienna on a daily basis (e.g. ‘stand-ups’) + Work in an agile setup and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives + Collaborate internationally with our colleagues in our R&D development center in Ireland, and with globally distributed stakeholders + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field, or equivalent work experience + Professional experience as a software developer + Experience working in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment is preferred + Experience with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) + Experience with C# / .NET + Experience with cloud-based solutions (incl. micro-services) + Experience with modern Web Frameworks such as _React_ is a plus + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders (technical and non-technical) + Strong analytical skills and capability to work independently + "Self-starter" attitude and the ability to make decisions independently with a passion for innovation + English fluency is required; German is a plus **Our offer** We offer you to contribute in a highly motivated global environment, working to develop products that have a positive, real-world impact.
