Department OverviewDevelop software for new products and provide software support for existing products as may be required across our product range.
Job Description
Core objectives include:
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for our diverse range of hardware platformsWrite robust, efficient, and scalable code adhering to best practices and industry standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsParticipate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and reliabilityStay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the embedded software domainContribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and tools
Basic RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field2 - 5 years of experience in embedded software developmentProficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with real-time operating systemsExperience with low-level communication peripherals like UART or other serial communication protocols - essential.Experience flashing and debugging microcontrollers. - essential.Experience with embedded operating systems (embedded Linux, FreeRTOS ) - desirable Experience with specific microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) - desirableExperience with Qt framework - desirableExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD (Jenkins) - desirableExperience in communications systems, including RF such as HF and VHF, and in networking systems and protocols such as TCP/IP, WiFi, Ethernet, CAN, DSP technologies, etc.Proficient in Multi-threaded application development, Test-Driven DevelopmentWriting, updating, and maintaining technical programs, documentation and operational procedures.Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) & test-driven development (TDD)
