DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work with Product Analysts on software requirements for new features of JPMC applications. Work with Engineering Leads and Principal Engineers on technical requirements in terms of developing software. Work in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Apply skills on programming languages, DevOps, Apache Kafka and databases as per JPMC standard, and develop software based on assignment. Develop Microservices in JPMC private cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. Solve technical problems on application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Perform unit testing of developed software. Apply Agile principals as per JPMC standard and collaborate with the team to deliver assignments on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Information Systems Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience with the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Apache Kafka; J2EE; Spring; Java; REST; GIT; Junit; Maven, Jenkins, and Cloud.
