Software Engineer (26750) Minneapolis, MN | Contract Job Description Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Software Engineer with our client in Minneapolis, Minnesota.Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Layer 7 API Gateway development, specifically with Broadcom API Gateway services. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing services for the NYDFS Project, testing with tools like Selenium and Postman, and deploying services using CI/CD pipelines. Strong experience with Java RESTful frameworks, API performance tuning, and service optimization is essential. Key Responsibilities: + Develop Broadcom API Gateway services as part of the NYDFS Project. + Design, implement, and test API Gateway services using Java RESTful frameworks. + Utilize tools such as Selenium and Postman for thorough testing of services. + Deploy API Gateway services through CI/CD pipelines. + Optimize the performance of API services and conduct performance tuning. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services. + Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle. + Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed services. + Continuously monitor and improve the performance and scalability of services. Preferred Experience: + 5+ years of experience in API Gateway development, particularly with Broadcom API Gateway. + Proficiency in Java development, RESTful API frameworks, and associated technologies. + Experience with CI/CD deployment processes and related tools. + Strong expertise in API performance tuning and optimization. + Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium and Postman. + Knowledge of Layer 7 API Gateway best practices and architecture. Skills & Qualifications: + Expertise in Broadcom API Gateway. + Solid understanding of Java and RESTful web services. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
