This role is a hybrid of System Administration (60%) and Software Engineering (40%). The System Administration will take precedence. Software Engineering will be primarily aligned to break or fix remediation and support of Software Engineers although there may be instances in which task will be assigned independently.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Manage user or group, security permissions, group policies
+ Manage any data input or output and archival
+ Maintain enterprise components such as SSO and ECG
+ Lower Environment Refresh
+ Maintain and Monitor scheduled processes; research event-log warnings and errors
+ Perform migrations between environments and any associated release notes
+ Review vendor releases for individualized impacts and support new feature requests with vendor
+ Perform ad-hoc data loads, calculations, data transfers and other non-standard activities
+ Monitor system health; making improvements and or or engaging developers
+ Perform standard maintenance and opportunities to further automate.
+ Support Plan Administration team in general inquiries
+ Provide first level help desk support and assist other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
+ Help test and document new features when needed
+ Assist Software Engineers in creating new features
+ Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and or or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and or or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). **Required Qualifications:**
+ Graduate
+ SQL and PostgreSQL experience
+ Understanding of general Computer Science, Network Administration or Information Technology as a foundation to system maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting
+ Proven service-oriented; focus on anticipating, recognizing and meeting peoples' needs no matter if they are clients or not
