**Job Title: Software Engineer** **Job Duration: 6 Months** **Location: Remote** **Rate: $50/hr. on W2.** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled **Software Engineer** with a strong understanding of networking concepts and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be adept at **formulating API queries, scripting tailored solutions, and developing insightful dashboards** to visualize key operational metrics. This role requires a combination of programming expertise, database management, and network monitoring to provide transparent insights into system performance and resource utilization. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design and optimize **API queries** to retrieve data from extensive datasets efficiently. + Develop and maintain **Java/Python scripts** for data manipulation, automation, and workflow optimization. + Utilize **SQL databases** to store, manage, and query large datasets. + Create and maintain **user-friendly dashboards** that provide real-time visualization of key metrics. + Utilize **CLI commands on Cisco hardware** for network device monitoring. + Leverage **Python and Shell scripting** to analyze and manage system and resource utilization. + Work closely with the hiring manager, providing updates and incorporating feedback into project development. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + **6+ years of experience** in software development. + Proficiency in **Python, Java, and Shell scripting** . + Strong knowledge of **SQL databases** and experience writing complex queries. + Familiarity with **networking concepts** and system monitoring. + Excellent **problem-solving skills** with a keen attention to detail. + Strong **communication and collaboration abilities** . + Analytical mindset with a **willingness to learn and adapt** to new challenges. **Preferred Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. + Experience working with **large datasets and data analytics platforms** .
