Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Capture system level requirements by working closely with Tech leads, Program/Project Managers and Product OwnersIdentify the scope of the work, provide initial estimates and justify the estimate with factsMaintain and drive code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation; Be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project; Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules.Be an expert in assessing NFRs (performance, load, scalability etc.) for the application and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practicesDevelop expertise and own individual module design while also understanding the overall productSeek and provide feedback on design and developmentDemonstrate the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessmentPossess advanced domain knowledge and show great customer focus. Expert in processes / methodologies and Skilled in build, release & deployment processesArticulate the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeOverall 3-4 Years of experience in software development in Enterprise Application DevelopmentEssentials Skills:
Good knowledge of UI Design and Development, with knowledge of Android Development or Flutter or React Native. Good experience in mobile developmentExperience with offline capabilities in mobile applications a BIG plus.Good knowledge of debugging tools to address performance and reliability bottlenecksGood knowledge in unit testing using JUnit and mock frameworks.Experience in Agile development practices: Test Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).Desired Characteristics:
Good knowledge of middleware like GraphQL, Apollo server/clientGood knowledge of AWS Cloud Design and Development (AWS certification is a plus).Good knowledge of Microservices design and developmentExperience in Java, Spring boot, Rest APIs, HibernateExperience in DB Design (Oracle, PostGres, MongoDB)Good problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignmentsDemonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
