Who You'll Work With
You will have the opportunity to work with some of the brightest problem solvers in the Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Team working on next - generation of datacenter and cloud switches where we own the end-to-end solution testing. The ACI team plays a crucial role in ensuring that Cisco's SDN solutions meet the evolving needs of modern data center and cloud networking environments.

What You'll Do
You will play a pivotal role in the testing and advancement of our innovative network controller software. Your technical expertise will contribute to the ongoing evolution of our intent-based networking solutions, ensuring they meet the complex and dynamic needs of modern networks. You will support the design, development and validation of new features for Cisco's DCN software. Collaborate with various teams to integrate network control, automation, and analytics capabilities into the product. Contribute to the architecture and design discussions, advocating for quality to be inbuilt for customer success. Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reusable automation code that aligns with Cisco's standards. Implement robust automated testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of the ACI software. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in SDN, network automation, and cloud computing to inform product development. Find solutions to resolve technical issues in collaboration with the development, support and operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
* Python programming experience
* Networking experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies, including troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization
* Experience with requirements analysis, test strategy, planning and testbed design
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science
* Design and implementation experience of any end-to-end automation systems
* Experience in software testing, software-defined networking
* Exposure to containerization, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
* Experience with network technologies such as VXLAN and VLAN, OSPF or BGP
* Desire to learn new skills and technologies
