About the Role

Twitch is building the future of interactive entertainment. As a Software Engineer with Safety Systems in the Community Health Org, you'll work as part of a team to build systems and processes that are designed to keep our creators and viewers safe on Twitch. You’ll build systems to support user reporting flows and help maintain our internal platform used to triage and process reports, enforcements, appeals and reinstatements. Safety Systems engineers also help integrate new products being developed at Twitch to safety tooling and regulatory compliance by consulting with various internal and external stakeholders.

You Will
- Design, deliver, and improve performance, reliable, and high-performance systems
- Embrace and champion engineering best practices within your group and Twitch
- Produce clean, high-quality code, tests, and documentation
- Actively participate in code and design reviews with peers and partners
-Contribute engineering input and feedback into product planning processes
-Partner with fellow engineering teams to accomplish complex projects together
- Participate in regular on-call alongside our team’s engineers to support our online systems
