As a Software Engineer you will work on a number of exciting eCommerce projects that will have a very positive impact on Baker Hughes business. You'll be You will be responsible for programming a set of features or functionalities for our SAP Commerce Cloud eCommerce application. You will contribute to the team and works with direction from the Senior Team Members or management but works independently.
 

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Acting as a member of the Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high quality design and development practices.Working with Product Line Leaders to understand product requirements & vision.Translating requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards.Developing high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end web applications.Collaborating with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing TechniquesWriting codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.Developing quality software that meets the functional and non-functional project requirements in the implementation, enhancement, and support of e-commerce platform centric projects. This includes producing application code on-time.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum 3+ years of professional experience.Have good experience in developing eCommerce applications on SAP Commerce Cloud CCv2 (Hybris) platform using Spring, REST/API services (OCC), Web Services.Have good understanding of Catalog, SOLR, Order management and Media Management in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).Have Good experience in SAP ERP integration and any 3rd party integrations (Payment, tax etc.,) is preferred. SAP ERP Integration experience via CPI using ODATA will be added advantageHave good working knowledge of relational databases (JPA, Hibernate,JDBC, Spring Data).Have a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large, distributed eCommerce application.Have experience with rules engines (Camel, Drools, JRules) & Code repository tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git, SVN).Have Headless Commerce (Spartacus), B2B Commerce, SEO & Analytics experience will be a value add.
