Software Engineer - Backend - Radar

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of a dynamic team working on some of the most challenging problems in building large-scale systems. This team is laying the foundation of Rubrik’s first SaaS-only service - leveraging huge amounts of data to glean insights and surface them to our Enterprise users. The team focuses on two core products - Sonar, a Data Governance product and Radar, a Ransomware detection product. 

ABOUT THE JOB

You will be building systems that can reliably handle petabytes of data while still providing a high uptime. There are opportunities to work on the core backend systems and/or build Machine Learning models for some of our classification systems, a perfect match if you want to learn one of those areas while you hold expertise in another.

ABOUT YOU

In your day-to-day work, you will leverage your past experience in developing large software systems to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Rubrik’s products. You will manage individual projects, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.  All of engineers work to identify and solve bottlenecks within our software stack

Our diverse team of engineers all bring unique experience to Rubrik.  If you have all/most of these experiences, we want to hear from you.

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C/C++, Python, Scala, or Go. Experience building large-scale systems Prior experience with horizontally scalable DBs like Cassandra, Druid, Presto, etc.
