Why We Need you! 

As a passionate and experienced Software Engineer at Ivanti, you will be joining our dynamic and innovative software development team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that empower our customers to implement IT and security operations efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing and debugging complex customer issues and providing innovative solutions to ensure a seamless user experience. 
 

What You Will Be Doing: 

Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex software issues.  Monitor and optimize application performance for both existing and new applications.  Debug and troubleshoot customer issues, providing effective solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.  Review design, code, and test cases.  Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure robust and secure applications.  Work with cross-functional groups including engineering leadership, architects, product management, technical support, sales engineering, OS vendors, and customers to understand, analyze and resolve field issues.  Guide QA/ Automation team to design and develop stable, repeatable test environments that cover production use cases to prevent escapes. 

 

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have: 

  

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field.  3-5 years of Microsoft Windows software development experience.  Great at working as part of a team with strong communication skills.  Self-motivated software engineer who loves problem solving and helping others solve problems.  Loves to learn and quickly master new technologies.  Able to help design / architect solutions.  Programming languages: Object-oriented programming language experience such as C# or C++.  Platforms/Runtimes: Windows & .NET.  Technologies: Windows application development, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure or AWS.  Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking work items, bugs, and test cases.  Unit testing & automation testing 

 Preferred 

Experience with Cloud services/SaaS with Azure or AWS.  Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking work items, bugs, and test cases.  Technologies: Windows application development, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure or AWS, IIS, Web Services, JIRA, XML, JSON, HTTP/CSS, HTML, TLS, GIT, GitHub, secure software development.  Development methodologies: Agile software development including Scrum or Kanban
