Applied Materials’ Display Department is searching for an intern to join our team! We are seeking a Software Automation Engineer to join our growing team and participate in the SW DevOps development. The successful candidate will help drive our software Tools and DevOps automation development. The position will entail the following:
Contribution to the SW Tools automation and DevOps for the Display Flexible TechnologiesDevelopment Automated test casesDevelopment of microservices for Jira and Confluence.Plug-in development to integrate different software services into Jira/ConfluenceAnalysis of workflow and directions for process and product improvementRequirements
AVAILABILITY: This co-op experience is looking to provide approximately a one year, mainly part-time experience from Spring 2025-Spring 2026. Summer 2025 will be full time, 40 hours a week (May/June - Aug/Sept), with a switch to part time work as the student continues academics before graduating ~end of H1 2026.Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Computer Science & Engineering or related fieldStudent must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scaleExperience in Python is preferred, but C and Java are also qualificationsExcellent communication and process documentation skills for developing SW libraries, Micro services and plug-ins.Preferred Requirements
