Software Engineer - CWS Agent Developer

The Team

The CWS agent team is building out the runtime security agent which aims to provide security detections and protections on a large set of environments by monitoring system events such as : process activity, file integrity monitoring, network activity. The team is composed of engineers with expertise in eBPF, in networking, and the Linux kernel.

 

The Opportunity

Be a part of creating and defining the technical requirements to build best in class the runtime security monitoring solution. Join a fast-moving team working on hard problems deep in the Linux stack. In this role, you will work on multiple aspects of the product, from contributing to the core detection engine in eBPF, to contributing to our multiple CI environments. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Own new feature development end-to-end from technical definition to implementation Build common eBPF functionality for product teams to use in their eBPF-based products Research, prototype new way to stress test our detection engine and our security coverage.  Be a driving force in our testing strategy, maintain and increase our platform coverage Be part of the effort to improve our detection coverage while keeping the performance impact as low as possible.

 

Who You Are:

You have experience working with and developing in the Linux kernel, either using eBPF, as a kernel developer, or building low level programs in C You have significant experience building high throughput/low latency systems You have been building applications and tooling for 5+ years and know the systems you’ve worked on in depth You are motivated by solving problems for our customers first and foremost and building beautiful products that our customers love
