The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you`ll do:

We are looking for a software engineer who will work with us on the provisioning of innovative de-identification solutions to meet data privacy requirements. These solutions include encryption, hashing, and anonymization of personal identifiable information. Many of these solutions include machine learning approaches.

 

As a senior software engineer you will

Design and deliver services for privacy enhancing technologies such as encryption, hashing, and anonymization Design and deliver solutions to anonymize structured and unstructured data including text, attachments, and images Actively collaborate with business stakeholders, legal experts, and technical specialists during all phases of the software development lifecycle Apply ML algorithms for the anonymization of personal information in unstructured data Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and refine models to improve accuracy, precision, recall, and other key performance indicators

 

What you bring:

Master’s degree in computer science, data science or related field Professional experience in developing cloud applications, for example in programming languages like python or java, in versioning systems such as GIT, and in setting up CI/CD pipelines Practical experience in delivering services for de-identification of personal information Knowledge in the field of ML and deep learning, for example in NLP Knowledge of the SAP technology stack such as SAP HANA and BTP Experience with working in scrum teams and ideally in a SAFe setup Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, German is a plus General interest in data protection and privacy topics
