Purpose:
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of both frontend and backend systems that support Astellas' generative AI platforms and digital transformation efforts. The role exists to provide full-stack solutions, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and seamless integration of AI-driven applications across commercial, manufacturing, and medical operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, and backend technologies like Python, Java, or Node.js. Design and implement APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) to enable AI model interactions and data processing. Manage and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval. Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement, security, and performance of AI-driven systems. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the engineering chapter.
