About You:
Reporting to Engineering Manager, Orchestration Platform, you are passionate about applying their software engineering fundamentals to build software that meets the highest standards in quality, scalability and reliability.About You:You are a recent graduate with a BS in Computer Science or related field and 1-2 years of relevant experienceYou optimize for impact over motion and love getting stuff doneYou have a solid understanding of back-end development, and are comfortable with at least one frontend platformYou have strong programming skills, CS fundamentalsYou are a self-starter and motivated learnerYou have a strong desire for professional growthYou have strong communication skillsYou are legally authorized to work in Canada What you will do:Build and maintain platform APIs, and sometimes Frontend infrastructure such as notification handlers that build on those APIsJump into other team’s codebases to help achieve collective goalsCollaborate on tight-knit teams - teach us what you know and learn from usIdentify areas of technical debt and influence roadmap plans with smart solutionsBonus Points:Experience in our tech stack: Golang, React, TypeScript, NextJS, GraphQL, GRPC/Protobuf, MySQL, PostgreSQLPhysical and Cognitive RequirementsPrompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.#LI-RemoteThis is a remote role.
