You will be a part of a highly functioning team of software professionals delivering an award-winning work management tool. What You'll Do Improve existing features and collaborate to build innovative new features that delight users. Work with a designer, tech lead, and project manager to build new features or update existing front-end features. Focus on quality code and write unit tests to maintain our high code standards. Debug and isolate support issues as they arise and capture a detailed explanation of the problem. Grow as a developer during work hours by reading, completing course work, or experimenting with modern technologies. What You'll Bring A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, 3 to 5 years of experience working with established software teams. Strong understanding of modern web development technologies and methodologies. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/JSX, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, CSS/Styled Components, and unit testing with jest. Strong problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to understand complex software architecture. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Strong emoji-fu, pun appreciation, and an instinct for when to drop that completely relevant gif into a slack channel. Preferred Skills Considerable experience with React, TypeScript, and Styled Components. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Familiarity with modern front-end unit testing tools and practices.
