We are seeking a motivated and experienced entry-level software engineer for the Experience Management organization for our Disney Streaming apps (Disney+, Hulu and Star+). As an engineer on this team, you will work with a team of peers to build state-of-the-art curation and enrichment tools that brings delightful experiences to millions of our viewers across the globe

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain our internal toolset and APIs for curation, observability and enrichment to bring delightful experiences to the viewers of D+ and HuluCollaborate with Product and Program managers to break down and implement tasks for the toolsParticipate in an agile development environment and deliver features within the expected timeframeFoster and maintain effective communication channels with your team membersLeave systems better than you found themQualifications:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field OR Coding Bootcamp qualifications with proficiency in at least one of the following languages - Java, Python, KotlinDemonstrated educational experience or personal project time working with React, Angular or similar frontend technologiesDemonstrated success in being part of a team problem-solving and communicating with empathy and respectEffective communication and collaboration skillsThe hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is 93,400.00-125,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
