As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell, in Brno, you will be responsible for coding in C and working on embedded systems. You will play a crucial role in the design and development of software solutions that power innovative products in various industries. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of experience in software development.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop software solutions using C programming languageCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specificationsConduct unit testing and debugging of software to ensure high quality and reliabilityWork closely with hardware engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware componentsParticipate in code reviews to identify and address potential issues early in the development process

Key skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field0-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in embedded systemsProficiency in C programming language, Python is a plusStrong understanding of hardware and software integrationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
