In This Role, You Will: As a Software Engineer I, you will be expected to demonstrate solid conceptual and technical skills. Create beautiful, interactive, and easy-to-use web applications using modern clientside frameworks and libraries Implement new features and integrate them into the Cvent cloud landscape. Investigate, identify, solve, and fix software problems. Work with other products and teams in the Cvent suite to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems. Here's What You Need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related highly technical discipline Professional experience developing enterprise applications / exposure to enterprise SDLC environments Foundation with object-oriented programming in Java preferred Experience developing web applications with a modern Javascript framework (NextJS + React experience highly preferred) High proficiency with query programming in SQL, ability to write stored procedures in TSQL Working experience with RESTful web services in JSON GraphQL API experience a plus Understanding of DevOps and Build tools such as Gradle, Maven, or Jenkins Knowledge and Experience using AWS web services Highly proficient with version control systems, especially GIT, a plus Above all, a successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for technology. You should stay updated on the latest advancements in the industry, engaged in technical projects, and find enjoyment in the field.
