OnsiteJob DescriptionJoin Collins Aerospace as a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be a part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional services and goods globally. This is a full-time position in 2025. You will work 40 hours per week during core business hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm MST.
What You Will Do:
A Software Engineer will be paired with more experienced engineers in performing requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition. This position may include software development, programming languages including Java, C++, Python, data base management, networking, or data communications.
This position is full time to support the Software Engineering, Integration, and Testing (SEIT) Resource Management Area. The selected candidate will be given tasks appropriate for their level and will work with mentors to develop their skills as needed.Coordinate with global task orders supporting the Space Software Engineering Team.
What You Will Learn:
Hands-on experience in Software Engineering.
Skills in Java, C++, Python, data base management processes and test and integration engineering processes.
How to create and manage software engineering reports, analyze data, and drive compliance.
Exposure to Software Engineering and DOD Systems.
Techniques to identify and address root causes of software performance issues.
Decision support and tactical instruction in a professional setting.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

Qualifications We Prefer:
Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Aerospace, or Computer Science.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration and initiative.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with advanced Software analytics tools.
Demonstrated adaptability and innovation in problem-solving.
Prior experience or coursework related to software engineering.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
