We are a passionate team of engineers focused on empowering our customers to automatically close experience gaps at scale. We run an automation platform that executes millions of workflows every day in real-time that are crucial to the health and success of our clients' experience management programs. We are a product team with high adoption and growth and are seeking engineers ready to tackle large-scale problems where optimization is key. As an xFlows Engineer, you will be solving critical problems that have an immediate impact on customers and partner teams across all of Qualtrics.

How You’ll Find Success

\n\nTakes initiative and ownership of a problem from conception to delivery\nMakes the right design and implementation tradeoffs to deliver maximum value\nProven ability to work well in teams - collaborating with peers, managers, and cross-functionally with PMs, UX, and customer-facing roles\nTakes an analytical mindset to approach problems and find solutions\nShows a desire to learn new skills and grow in the role\nClear and consistent communicator\n\n

How you'll Grow

\n\nDevelop the skills to build scalable, fast, robust, and user-friendly SaaS solutions.\nGain familiarity with containerization technologies and explore full-stack development.\nLearn to implement new functionality based on provided requirements and specifications.\nCollaborate closely with engineers, tech operations, and product managers to enhance your learning experience.\nUnderstand Agile methodologies by participating in daily stand-up meetings, prioritizing tasks, and delivering value to our customers with urgency.\n\n

Things You’ll Do

\n\nDevelop scalable, fast, robust, and simple solutions to solve complex business problems\nImplement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance, quality, and user adoption\nOwn projects from the onset. This includes gathering requirements, technical design, implementation, and delivery\nCollaborate with and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers, as well as being a  collaborator for others via design and code reviews\nMaintain your team’s infrastructure and participate in a regular on-call rotation\nContribute to the product roadmap and success of the team with your ideas and feedback\n\n

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science\nExperience with modern backend programming languages and frameworks (Node, GoLang, Java, PHP, etc. and their ecosystems)\nExperience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD (AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.)\nExperience with software engineering best practices (e.g. unit and integration testing, code reviews, design documents, architecture reviews)\n\n

\n\nThe Workflows Platform is a high-visibility team that integrates with nearly every product line at Qualtrics.\nWe own multiple micro services that allow users to configure customized multi-step workflows and execute them in real-time from high-scale streaming event sources. \nWe have a high bar for code quality and performance since our code paths are executed millions of times per day.\nThe team is highly collaborative and willing to help each other grow and develop as we deliver on critical business use cases.\n\n
