The Software Engineer II - The Engineer will design, develop, review, and maintain software.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Designing and developing software applications. Involved in analyzing user requirements and designing software applications to ensure they are free from defects and function as intended to help ensure software quality.Maintaining software applications to ensure they continue to function properly. This may involve fixing bugs, updating software, and adding new features.Collaborating with team members of developers, testers, and project managers. They must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others to ensure project success.Staying up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to ensure they are using the best tools and techniques available.Providing technical support to users of the software they develop. This may involve troubleshooting problems, answering questions, and providing training to users.Documenting software development processes that inculdes design decisions, testing results, and maintenance activities. Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using best practices and industry standards.Identifies and drives adoption of relevant new tools, processes, and frameworks within the project across SDLC and trains the team in these areas.

Qualifications and Technical Knowledge
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in software development with expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java and Javascript.Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services, Java, and React.Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Good knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.Good understanding of database design and development with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.Experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and other stakeholders.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including ability to understand advanced technical documentationProficiency with agile software development tools like JIRA, GitHub, etc.Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn new technologiesThe essential requirements of the job include
