Our Cross-Platform Currency (CPC) team is responsible for creating the tools and processes that keep Windows up to date, ensuring that users have the most up-to-date features and security possible. We are looking for highly motivated **Software Engineer II** to help reimagining of traditional update systems and processes, as well as the redesign of updates from the ground up shifting to a modern, scalable, Azure-based solutions. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Contribute to all phases (design, prototype, implement, test) of our modern, scalable, cloud-based update creation service. + Debugs live-site issues to ensure availability and delivery of updates.  ** ** + Perform root cause analysis of key issues to learn and implement solutions.   ** ** + Working cross-team to integrate with partner teams and their systems.  ** ** + Recognize manual work to propose and implement solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.  ** ** + Understand requirements and create complete design specifications.  + Prioritizing your collection of work and delivering fixes in a timely fashion to meet deadlines. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 4+ years professional software development experience with relevant programming and scripting lanaguages including PowerShell, Perl. + Knowledge of Azure technologies (Service Fabric, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Storage) and Microsoft Stack (C#, SQL, ASP.NET) + Proven design and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence. + Experience with relevant programming and scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl) + Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, and debug server-side, multi-threaded, and highly scalable applications. + Experience in working with micro-services architecture. + Experience in building and maintaining a mature service - CI/CD, scalability, reliability, incident management + Demonstrated results working with a global team. + Experience with agile/scrum methodologies. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in UX (JS, Angular etc.) is a plus. + Proven communication skills, both verbal and written. + The ability to work well in a diverse, global, team-focused environment.  \#wsdjobs \#wsdindia \#ewdindia #CPC #wsd  Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
