Software Engineer II
**Front-End Engineer II – Nike Digital Engineering** We are seeking a motivated and skilled Front-End Engineer II to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of high-quality, user-centric applications. In this role, you will focus on front-end development, working closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver technical solutions that drive Nike’s digital products forward. Your role will include creating seamless integrations with the WeChat ecosystem. **Scope and Responsibilities** + As a **Front-End Engineer II** , you will:Focus on front-end development using technologies like React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS + Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs + Design, develop, and optimize WeChat Mini Programs using WeChat SDK, WXML, and WXSS while ensuring compatibility with WeChat's platform constraints and guidelines + Build and maintain front-end APIs for Nike’s developer community + Contribute to the testing of your components to ensure adequate test coverage and quality assertions + Participate in technical discussions and code reviews, contributing to the decision-making process within the team + Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies, advocating for innovation and best practices **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field + 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development + Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS + Proven experience working with WeChat Mini Program development using WeChat SDK, WXML, WXSS, and integrating with WeChat’s ecosyste + Experience with version control systems like Git + Experience in writing unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality software + Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and common development practices + Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams · Commitment to and hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews + Intermediate in English, both written and spoken NIKE, Inc. is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
