Job description for the PHP Developer position:
A PHP Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the PHP programming language. They work closely with other members of the development team to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet client requirements.
Requirements for the PHP Developer position (must-haves):
Bachelor's Degree HolderProven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role using the WAMP (Windows-Apache-MYSQL-PHP) or LAMP (Linux-Apache-MYSQL-PHP) stackStrong knowledge of Zend/Laminas PHP web frameworkProficient understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, etc.Experience working with databases like MySQL or MSSQL - able to write and review SQL code, commands and DB design Familiarity with Git version control system, Git workflows and Git secretsUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques(e.g., JSON/XML parsing, SOAP, etc)Experience working with Azure cloud and able to navigate the Azure portalExperience working with Docker, Docker Images and Docker files Experience resolving security issues and vulnerabilities (Checkmarx, Xray, Dependabot, Trufflehog, Wiz)Must be willing to provide on-call support even outside of shift as neededTroubleshooting and logging experience is a mustExperience working with both Windows and Linux environments is a mustExperience working with cross-functional teams is a mustExperience in ticketing systems such as JIRA or ServiceNowExperience working in Agile environment is a must (Sprints)Experience in writing unit testsPlus points (nice-to-haves)
