Job Description
Ability to lead, improve upon and create processes required for effective Middleware Application Administration.Triage, Configure, Install, Update & Troubleshoot WebLogic (10.x. 11.x and 12.x)/ WebSphere/ Tomcat/ JBoss Application Servers and Apache web server in Java Linux platformVast Experience in applying Patches to above products and triagingExperience on transaction and performance monitoring tools such as Introscope, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk etc.Experience and exposure in TDI (Template driven infrastructure), Ansible and cloud architecture.Experience with monitoring the JVM and performance tuningExperience with SSL Certificate managementResponsible for support of JDBC connectivity to different Database LayersMust be proficient in Linux environmentGood to have experience with scripting (python, shell)Assist managing vendor support tickets and be able work with a team to triage and resolve urgent application issues.Experience with on-call support for the production environmentFlexibility to cover various work schedulesResponsibilities
Must have 7-8 years Middleware Administrator experience and very good knowledge of Weblogic, Tomcat, Websphere, & Apache webserver products.Considerable knowledge of incident, change and release management principles, procedures and techniques.Demonstrate technical aptitude and ability to think and solve problems creatively.Must implement and support best practices and toolsExhibits ownership and accountability to drive projects by working collaboratively with global teamsRequirements
Education: B. E, B. Tech, MCACertifications If Any
ITIL Foundation Qualified (Certified Preferred)
Cloud/ Tomcat / Weblogic Certification (desired)
Experience Range: 6 to 8 YearsFoundational skills
