Manage full software development life-cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing. Perform product design, bug verification, and beta support which may require research and analysis. Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on certain projects. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Typically requires one to three years of experience. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Enhance, maintain, and support our cutting-edge Document and Output Management Suite, primarily using C++, C# and Java. + Participate in the full software development life cycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, problem resolution. + Work in an agile environment with a cross-functional team staffed in the USA and India + Provide guidance to Customer Support and field representatives in resolving problems and implementing new solutions at customers sites as necessary **Required Individual Traits** + Full professional proficiency (ILR Level 4) in spoken and written English, preferably with professional experience interacting on a high level with American English speakers. + Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to new technical challenges. + Desire to contribute to a collaborative development effort. **Required (Primary) Skills** + Demonstrable professional expertise in C++ and C# programming + Advanced understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio IDE + Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, object-oriented programming and design patterns. + Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. + Familiarity with software development for the Windows operating system. + Advanced understanding of database systems. **Desired (Secondary) Skills** + Experiences working in an agile development environment + Understanding of REST, JSON, XML, SOAP. + Knowledge of SQL programming. + Experience working with or a desire to learn Java **General Qualifications** · 2 to 5 years of professional experience in the Software Development field. · Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field. · Excellent communication, analytical, and development skills. . + Job Family Group: Engineering + Job Family: Software & Quality Assurance Engineering + Job Profile Name: Software Engineer P2 + Employee Type: Individual Contributor + Job Level: P2 (Developing) .
