As a Front-End Software Engineer in the **Growth Innovation** team, you will architect highly-performant and reliable web applications used by hundreds of thousands of customers every day. We not only build best-in-class support experiences for end customers but also work closely with our internal stakeholders across all lines of businesses to build the tools and features that power Uber's marketing and growth efforts.
At Uber, we have a high bar for quality & efficiency - you will collaborate closely with your Tech Lead, Product Managers, and Business Operations teams to build magical customer experiences at scale. The team is focused on driving high business impact, where every product we ship is measured and tracked with cost savings and/or efficiency improvements. Come and join us for an exciting ride!
\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years front-end web development experience
- Experience with Web UI development in Javascript
- Strong problem solving and coding skills
\-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ----
- Demonstrated experience of shipping high-quality product features on schedule
- Experience implementing complex projects with multiple dependencies
- Experience of cutting edge web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript), Application Servers, Web Applications
- Experience in Javascript and experience developing UI with JavaScript development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Bootstrap, etc)
- Experience with Node.js, React-Query, GraphQL, or other server-side Javascript technologies and tools
- Familiarity with principles of good user experience
