Your day-to-day tasks will include: + Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs focused on physical synthesis and dynamic simulation + Conduct literature reviews to investigate and implement new methodologies in multibody dynamics simulations + Collaborate closely with product engineers’ teams to deliver robust engineering solutions and customer-focused workarounds + Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation accuracy, computational performance, and software robustness Qualifications you need to have: + PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, with a specialization in numerical methods for multibody dynamics + Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and software development + In-depth understanding of dynamical systems theory, including the formulation of equations of motion with bilateral, unilateral, holonomic, and non-holonomic constraints + Expertise in numerical integration methods for differential-algebraic equations (e.g., Newmark-family, generalized-α, BDF) + Solid foundation in vector, differential, and integral calculus Qualifications that will be considered: + Knowledge of numerical methods for modal analyses of structures + Familiarity with co-simulation techniques and their application in dynamic systems + Understanding of numerical methods for robotic and control systems + Experience in multithreaded programming and parallel computing + Experience in solving systems of linear and nonlinear algebraic equations + Awareness of software quality assurance practices and performance profiling What we offer: + Permanent employment contract following a six-month evaluation period + Competitive salary package + State-of-the-art and continuously updated equipment (hardware and software) + Ongoing training in the latest technologies related to the field + Opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement + Private health insurance + Employee Assistance Program + Complimentary breakfast and lunch at the company dining hall + Company-provided transportation to and from the premises + Fully equipped on-site gym Kato Scholari + Participation in the company’s Private Pension Fund (T.E.A.) + Ample parking facilities with electric car charging + Comfortable and modern working environment Apply now for a place in our team!
