Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with 10+ years of expertise to lead the transition of a key product from another team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the original team in ongoing development, feature enhancements, and support efforts. As part of the role, you will also help establish a new team focusing on the product’s continued growth and stability.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the transition of the product from the existing team, ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer on the codebase, infrastructure, and processes. Collaborate with the current team on development activities, including adding new features, improving performance, and ensuring code quality. Take charge of support efforts, resolving client incidents and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the product. Build and lead a new team of developers, mentoring and guiding them in best practices and helping them grow professionally. Work closely with stakeholders to define priorities and align the development roadmap with business goals. Contribute to long-term architectural decisions and strategic planning for the product's future enhancements. Continuously optimize code and infrastructure, ensuring the product is secure, scalable, and efficient. Develop and document best practices, processes, and guidelines for both incident management and ongoing development. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineering managers, and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and incident resolutions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them where appropriate.

 

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of professional experience in .NET development, with a focus on C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core and Web API. Hands-on experience with Erlang, Typescript, and RabbitMQ. Strong experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), microservices architecture and modern development practices. Proven experience leading product transitions from one team to another, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer. Strong background in both development and support, with a focus on high-quality solutions and efficient issue resolution. Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, including mentoring junior and mid-level developers. Hands-on Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Version Control systems(GitHub/SourceTree). Expertise in performance monitoring, tuning and optimization, especially for high-traffic applications.

 

Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills for working with stakeholders during the transition and incident handling.

Desire Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent. Verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams, and both internal and external stakeholders. An open-minded, structured thinker, a team player and a good teammate. Intellectual curiosity and excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure and prioritize an approach for maximum impact.
