Job Description Summary:

Rocket has a custom CRM built on a MultiValue database called UniData with the presentation layer using classic asp. This is an application developer position that will be designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for software enhancements and bug fixes. The position will also be assisting with modernization of the current application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Good understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, etc. acquired from education and/or experience. 

Excellent programmer 
Proficient at complex programming & knowledge of standard data structure and algorithms. 

Make recommendations for each when solving technical problems. 

Completes assignments in a timely manner and within quality tolerance. 

Write modular, maintainable code with some guidance. 

Make the right trade-offs to efficiently solve problems. 

Recognize impact software changes will have on systems. 

Make component changes. 

Understand and comply with provided requirements, translate them into code. 

Understands the principles of hardware to make design decisions.  

Build subject matter expertise within the current product domain. 

Delivers well structured, tested, and documented code within agreed-upon timelines. 

Provide reasonably accurate estimates of work. 

 Required Qualifications:  

Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience. 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 

Able to present a track record of software development in the real world. 

Mastery of one or more programming languages (C#).

Excellent code designing skills. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

UniData or other MV database configuration and file structure (Universe, D3, jBase, OpenQM, etc.).

Excellent working knowledge of underlying operating systems (Windows & Linux).

Integration of web applications with MultiValue database using modern approach, ie: RESTful, SOAP.

Experience programming in MultiValue (PICK) Basic Language, specifically with UniData.

Experience in database administration and MV software integration, resizing DB files, indexes, etc.

Scripting experience in Windows/Linux/AIX.

Familiarity with essential UNIX commands to list, view, find and identify files, filesystems, OS version and configuration.

Familiarity with vb, c# and classic asp.

Annual salary range for this position is between €39,270.00 - €72,930.00 gross before taxes.

Salary range applies only to candidates in Lithuania

Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
