Software Engineer III

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Complete bug fixes. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.Also required is:2 years of experience: developing larger dataset as per the business requirements for the customer facing applications using High Performance Cluster Computing(HPCC) Enterprise Control Language (ECL); with data management and manipulation of the vendor contributed data to clean, normalize, standardize, link, group and aggregate data using big data platform HPCC technology and tools like WinSCP, ECL IDE, Visual Studio Code; and in data analysis of various formatted data from vendors using HPCC SALT (Scalable Automated Linking Technology).1.5 years of experience: migrating developed software code from lower environments to production using Jira tracking software and GitHub software development platform.1 year of experience: designing moderate complex data workflow of RDBMS data sources for building dataset indexes by using Visio and draw io tools.Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.Experience can be concurrent.
