Software Engineer III

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including object-oriented principles and design patterns.

• Experience building and deploying microservices using Spring Boot framework.
• Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing frameworks for Java microservices.
• Understanding of microservices principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Ability to create and manage Docker containers, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, deployments, services, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
• Git expertise for code version control and collaboration on GitHub .
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging practices for distributed systems.
• Ability to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
• Develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps

• Deploy and manage microservices on Azure cloud platforms, such as Azure Container Apps

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation

• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• All other duties as assigned.
