Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Design, develop, and maintain applications for web development using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS Programming languages. Develop and maintain medium/large scale engineering projects. Mentor and coach junior developers to improve their skills and knowledge. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. Implement and follow best practices for web development including debugging, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices by gathering and evaluating application logs and customer journey. Work with product, design, and UX teams to create intuitive user interface and add features to improve customer experience. Design, develop, and maintain NodeJS, GraphQL applications to drive frontend development. Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes. Work on code and configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls and code integrity. Participate in on-call rotations to help support team solve problems for customers. Collaborate with backend teams to design effective and understandable APIs.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.
Skills required: Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript programming languages. Experience enhancing web applications using CSS. Experience writing unit tests, User Interface (UI) tests, and integration tests using testing frameworks. Experience using Git workflows for version control. Experience with Agile methodologies and leading standup and sprint planning. Experience integrating, caching, and parsing RESTful APIs. Experience working with GraphQL APIs. Experience optimizing web pages for performance, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO) by following HTML, CSS, and React best practices. Experience working with analytics and debugging tools. Experience collaborating with other developers, designers, and project managers in different countries to deliver high-quality web applications. Employer will accept any amount of graduate coursework, graduate research experience or professional experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
