About our Team
The Enterprise Customer Manager team is responsible for overseeing the organization's Customer Data Management system. This team ensures the accuracy, uniformity, and availability of customer data across various business units. Their work is crucial in enabling efficient data integration and synchronization, which supports strategic business initiatives. By maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date customer database, the team helps the company leverage customer data for better decision-making and enhanced operational effectiveness.
About the Role
This role is designed for a database management expert, responsible for leading and managing key database projects focused on data matching, migration, and overall management. The professional will design and implement robust database solutions that support business requirements while enhancing data integrity. They are expected to develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation and routine tasks, provide expert consulting on database design and optimization, and oversee the smooth migration of data across systems to minimize disruption and data loss. Additionally, the role involves implementing and maintaining precise data matching algorithms to ensure data accuracy and consistency, conducting extensive testing and validation of database solutions, and documenting all processes for compliance and training. The ideal candidate will have advanced SQL skills, a deep understanding of data migration techniques, and experience with various database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL etc.). They will work on migrating a complex database from Oracle to Postgres.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage database projects related to data matching, migration, and management.Design and implement robust database solutions to support business requirements and enhance data integrity.Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation and routine database tasks.Provide expert consulting internal teams on database design and optimization strategies.Oversee the migration of data across systems ensuring minimal disruption and data loss.Implement and maintain data matching algorithms to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the functionality and performance of database solutions.Document all database schemas, configurations, and processes for compliance and training purposes.Mentor other team members, promoting best practices in database management.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management to continually improve existing systems.Requirements
Minimum three years of intensive experience in database management and SQLAdvanced SQL skills with extensive experience in database design, development, and maintenance.Expertise in data migration techniques and tools.Strong understanding of data matching algorithms and their implementation in large-scale environments.Knowledge of database performance tuning, query optimization, and security practices.Familiarity with various database platforms and technologies, including relational (SQL) databases.Ability to create and manage large datasets and handle complex data models.Experience in data warehousing and ETL processes.Competency in programming for data manipulation and task automation.Proven expertise in developing complex SQL queries and optimizing database systems.Experience with data migration projects and implementing match algorithms.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.Excellent communication and consulting skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in additional database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus; Oracle, PostgreSQL preferred.Experience with Python or other scripting languages for database scripting and automation.Work in a Way that Works for You
