As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance for the automation within PAM ecosystem.Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains and proactively identifies and solves technology-related bottlenecks in your areas of expertise.Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts, coupled with 3+ years hands-on experience.Experience in Privilege Access Management domain (Products like HashiCorp, CyberArk , Beyond trust etc.).Strong Hands-on experience with scripting language (Go, Python).Strong Hands-on Experience with Cloud - AWS, Azure.Hands on Experience with Terraform.Must have strong analysis (both requirements and system) and design skills.Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.Exposure to and/or experience with LDAP, Active Directory, ADFS.Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, skills in dealing with a diverse population.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience working in security domain(network security or Application security) is desirable.Exposure to Java programming language.Exposure to database and streaming technologies like Kafka.Exposure to Enterprise Observability tools (like Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog)Understanding of DevOps and experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Git and Bitbucket.Experience in delivering solution through Agile methodology including daily participation in Agile ceremonies.
