Software Engineer in Test

The successful candidate will work together with the testing team to validate, verify and ensure Chubb software applications. The successful candidate will also help in the development, maintenance, and support of test automation frameworks.

The project 

Shared Services, is a group of different applications, integrating with internal Chubb systems, and are used for Chubb policy renewals, rules engine management and underwriters. The min-level tester, will be part of the existing Shared Services QA team, supporting the deliverables of the applications and the general testing best practices.

Responsibilities:

Implementing automated testing scripts using testing frameworks  Collaborating with development teams to identify possible requirements gap  Creating and maintaining test scripts and complex test cases  Analyzing testing stories and creating manual test cases  Executing automated tests and analyzing test results  Identifying and reporting software defects and issues  Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality  Continuously proposing improvements in test automation process  Hands-on development of detailed test artifacts such as test plans, traceability matrix, test cases with expected results located within Jira  Providing technical guidance and support to junior automation engineers  Ensuring code quality in test automation scripts  Communicating test results and advance roadblocks to the appropriate individuals on the project team  Helping other QA team members on test automation concepts and tools  Ensure high quality and compliance to requirements throughout the software delivery cycle  Document testing processes, procedures, and results  Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving 

Qualifications & Experience:

At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Test Automation Engineer  3+ years Programming knowledge, Java, Typescript, Javascript, Python etc  Relevant experience in automated testing for UI, API, Performance, Security, Mobile  Experience in working with UI testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar  Experience in working with API testing tools like RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI or similar  Experience with test management tools like SynapseRT, XRay, TestRail or similar  Experience with CI/CD like Jenkins, GitHub actions or similar  Experience with databases like MSSQL, SQL, DB2 or similar  Strong test analysis and problem-solving skills  Strong communications skills with the ability to cooperate with both executives and technical staff in Greek and English  Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence  Hands-on experience in STLC  ISTQB or relevant certification will be considered a plus
