Software Engineer Intern

At Cvent, our paid technology internships are designed to provide students with real-world mentorship and experience. Interns are exposed to the inner workings of an industry-leading software company and are expected to take ownership of projects to contribute to the company’s continued success. Projects are assigned based on current production schedules and operation’s needs, allowing for extensive exposure to the components and cycles of the technology department. Cvent’s internships are ideally structured to not only support professional development, but also open the doors to full time employment with the company upon graduation. In This Role, You Will: Work on large scale, cloud-based applications, where performance, reliability, and scalability are critical design goals Gain experience with different database technologies, ranging from traditional relational to the latest NoSQL products Work in a collaborative, team-based environment in an Agile environment Identify and resolve issues related to customer experience Analyze the functionality of our web-based software platforms, mobile devices, and backend system Here's What You Need: Ability to work remotely and in the office, following Cvent's hybrid work policy, with 2 in-office days on Wednesdays and Thursdays at our Headquarters in McLean, Virginia. GPA of 3.0 or higher The desire to make contributions to the company that will be used by current and future full-time employees Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Outstanding oral and written communication The ability and willingness to work alongside senior team members and managers to further your professional development Students with graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026 Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science PLEASE NOTE: This position cannot offer any sponsorship, or exception to the graduation dates listed.
