Applied Materials’ Display Department is searching for an intern to join our team! We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join us for a 12 week duration and gain exposure to a variety of processes behind manufacturing in the display industry.
The position will provide a student experience with the following:
Implement security changes provided by analyzing testing resultsLinux OS optimizationsImplementing software development changes using skills such as Bitbucket/Jenkins/JFrogImproving SQLite performanceOptimizing GUI performanceManaging event logs in a database by improving SQLite performanceCollaboration with a global team across Taiwan, China, Korea, and US sitesMinimum Requirements
Student must be available to start May/June and end their 12 weeks ~Aug/SeptStudent must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scaleStudent must be pursuing degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and returning to their studies upon completion of internship to graduate in H1 2026.Linux operating system knowledgeC/C++/Qt programming experienceBash and Python scripting experienceDatabase Optimization knowledgePreferred Requirements
