Thales Singapore Engineering Competence Centre (ECC) is a well-established R&D and engineering centre serving major customers worldwide in Digital Identity and Security domains ranging from mobile connectivity, IoT, banking & payment to government solutions.
You will be participating in a team of more than 80 people to develop, validate and deploy new software components (such as advance software security mechanism and next generation IoT connectivity protocols) for embedded operating systems targeted for mobile, IoT devices and automotive, and in applications such as mobile payment, digital identity, IoT connectivity and connected cars.
In your assignment, you may work on your own design and innovation project or contribute to the design, implementation, validation and deployment of Embedded Products for major OEM customers. In this position, you can expect to learn the ins-and-outs of software development and get hands-on experience of product development and validation.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other Embedded Software Engineers to design and develop new software featuresContribute to continuous product and development methodology improvementCreate tools and simulators to test the embedded softwareActively participate in requirements gathering, planning, and daily stand-up meetingsRequirements:
Programming skills in C is mandatory; Java and Visual Basic is an advantageBasic knowledge on Code Repository (e.g. Mercurial, Git)Experience on microcontroller programming is an advantageTeam player with good communication and collaborative skillsLearning Outcomes:
