Software Engineer Intern - Summer / Fall 2025 (Teradyne, North Reading)

Opportunity Overview The IST (Integrated System Test) team is looking for an energetic, technically driven Software Engineer Co-Op or intern to focus on the development of software systems for products within the IST. This individual will report directly to the Software Engineering Manager, working with team members to design, implement and debug development issues. We are ideally looking for a full-time intern or co-op for summer and/or fall 2025. Flexible start and end date, 3–6-month duration, with opportunity to start this spring/summer and extend into the fall. The role is based in North Reading, MA and candidate will need to be on-site. Responsibilities + Work on designs, coding, debugging/creating installation packages and documenting developed software + Putting together equipment racks for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) + Assist with new runtime releases + Working under direction of senior level software engineers + Writing test scripts + Work with the QE (Quality Engineers) on the different aspects of the runtime Software to understand how to wrote tests and automate them All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. + Must be currently attending a college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering + Must have and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher + Knowledge of software and experience with programming is a plus + Conceive and implement C# or C/C++ software solutions.
