We launched a new ad-supported tier in November 2022 to offer our members more choice in how they consume their content. Our new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach deeply engaged audiences.

Our Team

The Netflix Ads Identity and Audiences team is dedicated to delivering a relevant and engaging advertising experience while prioritizing consumer privacy. Our mission is to maintain precise subscriber identities to ensure that ads are not only engaging but also respectful of consumer privacy choices and regional regulations. We maintain a high quality Identity Graph which is used for various purposes, including respecting privacy choice and regulations, audience onboarding, targeting, measurement, and reporting.

The Role

As a Software Engineer on the Ads Identity and Audiences team, you will play a crucial role in building an industry-leading Identity solution that serves as a key component of core Netflix ads systems. Your work will ensure that ads are engaging, respectful of consumer privacy choices, and compliant with regional regulations. You will help maintain a high-quality Identity Graph used for various purposes, including respecting privacy choices, audience onboarding, targeting, measurement, and reporting.

Skills & experience we’re seeking:

Professional experience building Identity Graph and Identity resolution systems, serving online advertising use cases including privacy management, segmentation, measurement and reporting.

Graph algorithm and graph data modeling expertise.

Proven experience in handling data at extremely large volumes with big data tools like Spark, and building high throughput low latency distributed systems that utilized the big data.

Broad knowledge of ad tech and advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends.

Developed many cloud-based applications and comfortable with modern programming languages (preferably object-oriented),

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Nice to haves:

Data Clean Room (e.g. Snowflake, Habu, Infosum)

Familiarity with legal compliance and changing landscape of ads regulations around the world.

Experience working in the CTV space and knowledge of its unique constraints

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
