Reporting Segment: Insurance Valuation

Job Description:

Lead development, maintenance, and support of application software as part of an Agile development team.

Ensure a high level of product quality, reliability, security, and scalability by leading a team creating clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 

Troubleshoot customer issues when necessary and propose solutions.

Provide knowledge transfer of application changes to support teams.

Collaborate and communicate with quality, product, and client-facing teams to understand product needs and priorities.

Understand team status, needs, and roadblocks and communicate these to key stakeholders.

Drive resolution of team and product issues. Be proactive in surfacing potential problems.

Job Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

7+ years of experience in software development with the Microsoft technology stack (C#, ASP.NET, MS-SQL)

Experience creating software hosted in cloud-based environments (Google Cloud).

Experience leading teams with Agile development methodologies (Sprints, Scrum, Stand-Ups).

Optional Skills:

Industry domain knowledge in property insurance or a related field is a plus

Experience with SSIS, SSRS, GraphQL, and/or Elastic  

Experience with security vulnerability remediation or application performance tuning
