Position Overview:
The Advanced Programs Team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for you to join our growing technical team as a Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and debugging of software applications. This includes researching, identifying, and implementing solutions to complex, multi-disciplinary software problems.

Software Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline.Principal Software Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience.Linux experienceC/C++ and Python proficiencyObject Oriented Programing (OOP) experienceAbility and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needsApplicants must have either a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance, or an inactive U.S. Government DoD issued Secret clearance within the past 2 years at the time of application.
